To lie to us at all
When even they know
That we know
It's all lies, deceit, falsehoods
Politicians
Journalists
Editors
Pundits
That guy at work
There is no truth anymore
Not even
Church
Synagogue
Mosque
Temple
No where is the truth
To be found
Anymore
Our better angels whisper
Out grinning devils shout
And we are left in darkness
Without truth
Only lies.
