To lash out unknowingly
At those whom I've reached out to
Only rejected for they think I am
Not for who or what I am
My spirit is gentle
I have never acted aggressively
Unless forced by circumstance
I have refrained from harm as best I can
But I have hurt others terribly
For that I am shamed to eternity
I can't undo what I've done
Only try to be better than I was
Apologizing profusely at my stupidity
For the unsane things I regret
But hoping for understanding that
I have no violence in my heart.
